Welcome

As a cancer patient, you understand the importance of partnering with your healthcare team in your treatment. While you want to learn all you can about your particular kind of cancer and its treatments, your search will most likely include learning about options for managing some of the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. You've probably heard stories about the nausea and vomiting that can result from cancer treatment. At times, it might seem that your treatment makes you feel worse than the disease itself. Today, there are medications that can be included with your treatment plan that may help you avoid nausea and vomiting (also called emesis) associated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Kytril is one of those medications.

Kytril is an effective anti-emetic treatment that may protect you for 24 hours from the nausea and vomiting that can sometimes occur following chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Preventing emesis is essential, and Kytril has been doing it for more than 8 years. Kytril helps block one of the signals to the brain that trigger nausea and vomiting as a result of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. There is no dosage adjustment of Kytril Injection required. Kytril Injection is safe and effective even for children ages two years and older for CINV. Kytril is also safe and effective for the elderly and individuals with heart, liver or kidney concerns and can be taken orally as a tablet or solution prior to chemotherapy and radiation therapy, or through an injection prior to chemotherapy. So talk to your doctor today about Kytril.

We encourage you to take some time and explore our site. You'll learn about ways to avoid nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
